I've tried using Vsync in game to lock the frames, I've tried changing in game settings, recording settings, resolution, bit rate, encoders, nothing seems to make it go away. My gameplay runs completely smooth at a steady 90+ FPS but my recording comes out choppy, as in the video below. I've tried a variety of different settings with no distinguishable differences. I would be grateful for any help or suggestions.Having a huge issue with lag in my recordings and preview screen. Troubleshooting: I have not yet tried reinstalling drivers as I haven't had time, but has anyone else heard of this issue? I can't find it when searching.Īs that short period which is missing is towards the very end of the recording it is usually of the event which caused me to hit 'Instant Record' in the first place so this is quite annoying!

Other than updating to the new version of Geforce Experience just before these recordings there has been no other change to hardware or software that I am aware of: These are details of the recent recordings since the glitch started happening (no glitch before this point). At the end of the 'freeze' period video will resume, in sync with audio. Most of the recording will be fine but there will be a single ~10s period towards the end of a recording when the screen will freeze and audio will continue. Recently (since I updated to the new version of GeForce Experience) my recordings have been glitched. I have been using Shadowplay to record game clips for months, using Instant Replay with the same custom settings: 20 mins length, 1080pHD (native res) 60 FPS, 50 Mbps Bit rate.
